CHRIS CLYBURN GUITAR/VOCALS
Chris Clyburn was born and raised in Newcastle on a diet of Queen & Lindisfarne. He started singing at the age of 17 in Sting’s brother’s pub “Dunes” playing with local band “THE PICNIC” which included Lindisfarne front man Billy Mitchell’s son, Scott. After moving to Leeds, Chris managed local band “VISA” which at the time included Kaiser Chiefs’ Bass Player Simon Rix. In 2003, Chris formed the Leeds acoustic outfit “ELLIES INVITE”, playing several gigs around Yorkshire along with festivals in the South East of England. Following on from this, Chris joined acoustic trio “CMC” playing classic covers around the local area where he learned to cut his teeth as a performer. Chris has also made several appearances on BBC Radio Leeds, Radio York and Tempo FM. He is also a regular guest on BBC Radio Tees “The James Watt Show”. In May 2008, Chris released his self-penned debut solo album “EXERCISE FOR THE DOG” to critical acclaim from his peers and fans.
NYK HALL GUITAR/VOCALS
A man of mystery……renowned not only for his eclectic musical tastes, but also for his discerning dress sense (check out those shoes!). Dragged up on a diet of diverse musical styles steeped in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, Nyk studied Classical Guitar from the age of 7, giving him a solid grounding for his many and varied musical stints in numerous duos and bands, ranging from soft folk-rock, through Glam and New Romantics even touching a little Jazz and Swing on the way. Recently coaxed out of his self-imposed exile in a small Yorkshire village, Nyk shuns the adulation and celebrity, preferring instead to live a quiet, unassuming reclusive life when he is not performing.
